Job Overview:

As a Finance Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. This position involves managing core finance functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable , inventory control, and general ledger activities. Your role will involve preparing and processing vendor invoices in AP, monitoring outstanding debts, and ensuring accurate project accounting. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the month-end closing process, assisting with GST reviews, and collaborating with auditors for statutory and group audits. This role requires a detail-oriented, hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high standards of financial accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end finance functions, including AR, AP, Inventory, and GL.

• Handle AP invoice processing, prepare payment requests, and coordinate submission to Group Finance for approval.

• Prepare and process payments through online banking portals.

• Follow up with sales teams and customers to manage overdue accounts and support timely collections.

• Monitor revenue and cost recognition for completed projects to ensure accurate project accounting.

• Support month-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation, project closures, and compiling the monthly Reporting Pack for SEA Finance Manager review.

• Assist in the preparation and review of GST submissions and audit schedules.

• Collaborate with auditors during year-end statutory and group audit reviews.

• Liaise with tax and corporate secretarial agents on filings and compliance matters.

• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Professional Skills & Personal Capabilities:

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to project accounting.

• Prior experience in project accounting is preferred, showcasing your proficiency in handling financial aspects related to projects.

• Demonstrated high level of discipline, organization, and hands-on approach in managing financial tasks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to effectively interpret financial data and address challenges.

• Clear and effective communication skills, essential for working with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

• A team-oriented individual committed to collaborating effectively to meet project deadlines and organizational goals.

• Meticulous with a proactive working attitude, showing attention to detail and the ability to anticipate potential issues.

• Experience working with SAP B1 will be considered an added advantage, demonstrating your familiarity with relevant financial software platforms.
