New Life Community Services is a not-for-profit social service agency that seeks to bring hope and purpose to children, youths, and seniors so that they go on to create a positive impact in the community and society.

The Finance Executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s financial operations across various finance functions. This position includes handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, grants management, assisting with budgeting, audit support, and fixed asset accounting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

· Prepare electronic payments and cheques for suppliers.

· Reconcile fees, income, and perform bank reconciliations.

· Maintain fixed asset records, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.

· Assist in payroll entries, month-end closing, and journal entries.

· Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and variance analysis.

· Monitor grant funding and ensure compliance with agreements.

· Liaise with external auditors and support audits.

· Contribute to process improvements and financial system integration.

· Provide ad hoc support to the finance team.

Requirements:

· Diploma and above in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

· Experience in the non-profit sector or grant management is an advantage.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

· Self-motivated, attention to detail, with good time management skills

· Able to work independently and as a team player, and willing to learn.
