Job Objective
Manage full set of accounts in compliance with internal and external regulations
Core Responsibilities
Accounts Management
Handle full set of accounts (Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger) and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements
Perform monthly bank reconciliation
Prepare payments via cheques, TT, GIRO, TR and BG
Monitor and verify payments (including advance payments) for local and/or overseas
Work closely with related departments for checking and verifying
Prepare sales commission with calculation
Verifying payment and payment terms of customers/suppliers
Prepare Credit and Debit Notes for suppliers and customers
Prepare AR and AP aging reports
Prepare AR and AP statement of accounts
Financial and Tax Reporting
Prepare monthly reports and submit to the Manager for review
Prepare monthly GST return
Other Administrative Duties
Manage petty cash and expenses claims
Provide clarification on AP/AR matters relevant to the job scope
Liaise with banks and regulatory authorities on matters related to statement of accounts and operational matters
Support the Manager to answer queries from government agencies and external parties
Prepare and submit government surveys (e.g., SPRING/EDB/IE/IRAS/CCS/DOS/SBF surveys)
Process Improvement
Work with stakeholders to review and improve financial and accounting processes
