Our client is one of the leading providers of apparel manufacturing and rental solutions for parties and corporate entertainment events across Southeast Asia. They are currently looking to hire a Finance Officer to join their team.

Job Scope:

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate management accounts, ensure balance sheet reconciliations, and manage year-end closing, GST, tax returns, and grant applications in compliance with regulations.
  • Strategic Planning & Analysis: Collaborate with senior management to analyze financial results, lead budgeting and forecasting across China, Malaysia, and Batam, and support strategic decision-making with financial insights.
  • Cost Management & Efficiency: Identify cost-saving opportunities, conduct cost analysis, and improve operational efficiency across the organization.
  • Systems & Process Improvement: Enhance financial systems and reporting processes to boost efficiency while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital: Support effective cash cycle management by optimizing creditor, debtor, and inventory processes, ensuring healthy cash flow.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accounting/LCCI or relevant qualification.
  • Min 2 years of full sets accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy in all financial tasks.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of education-related financial regulations and compliance standards is an advantage.

Working Hours: 5.5 workweek/ Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm/ Sat 9am- 1pm (Virtual meeting)

Working Location: Bendemeer (10 mins walk from MRT)

Salary: Up to $4,500
