A healthcare organization in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting professional to oversee financial reporting and management. Responsibilities include preparing reports, reconciling insurance claims, and managing a team. Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the monthly closing of accounts and ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports to management.
Prepare monthly management reports and presentations (including financial and business performance analysis).
Review and verify expenses.
Reconcile medical insurance claims to payment reports/collections, and liaise with clinic operations teams to resolve rejected claims.
Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
Prepare and submit annual statutory accounts in compliance with statutory requirements.
Prepare quarterly GST returns and annual corporate tax filings.
Prepare relevant financial reports and presentations for Annual General Meetings.
Liaise with auditors in relation to annual statutory audits.
Assess current practices and processes, and make recommendations for improvements.
Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirement:
Degree or diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent, with professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA) a plus
3-6 years of relevant experience
Experience in managing a team of accounting personnel
Good problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills
Conscientious and meticulous
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Xero accounting software and clinics/retail industries will be an advantage
