Job description

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and general ledger
• Perform monthly and year-end closing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and submit financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts
• Ensure timely submission of GST filings, CPF contributions, and other statutory requirements (e.g. IRAS, ACRA)
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier invoices, and customer payments
• Handle budgeting and financial forecasting in collaboration with management
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant government authorities
• Monitor internal controls, identify process improvements, and support automation initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions and strategic planning

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, or beauty industries
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with Singapore tax and statutory regulations (e.g. GST, IRAS, CPF)
• Meticulous, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
