A luxury hospitality company in Singapore is seeking a Finance Executive to support the Finance team. Responsibilities include managing general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, processing payments, and preparing financial reports. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and possess strong English proficiency along with interpersonal skills. Experience in the hospitality sector is an advantage.
JOB SUMMARY
As a Finance Executive, you report to the Corporate Accountant and provides administrative support to the Finance team. You are responsible for ensuring complete payments process of vendors and preparing monthly reimbursables and fees billing to hotels. The individual's main responsibility includes reimbursable and fees billing and follow up on collections; verifying, reconciling and processing invoices accurately in a timely manner in accordance with both local and corporate policies and procedures. You will be an ambassador for Capella Hotel Group in all professional settings, in speech and demeanor.
THE ROLE
Maintain full spectrum of general ledger and accounts (including GST filing and fixed assets) for the Company and its subsidiaries
Maintain full spectrum of accounts receivable and accounts payable
Ensure all requests for payments are properly authorised and supported by relevant documentation and prompt payment made to suppliers
Responsible for claims and reimbursements processing
Prepare all Capella Hotel Group reimbursable billings and fee billings including but not limited to Management Fees, Marketing Fees, Technical Services Fee and Branding Fees
Monitor cash flows to ensure that there are funds to run a healthy operation and prepare weekly cashflow forecast and status
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist in month end closing and preparation of monthly management report
Assist in preparation of yearly budget and monthly forecast for Corporate Office
Assist to monitoring monthly reports submission from the hotels, including but not limited to monthly forecast, monthly financial statements, self-assessment, assets and liabilities reconciliation, annual operating budget and capex budget.
Assist in annual audit and tax matters
Responsible for book-keeping of subsidiaries accounts
Any other ad-hoc duties
TALENT PROFILE
Qualification
Graduate Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Management preferably specializing in Finance or Accounting Management
Chartered Financial Analyst certification is an advantage
Work Experience
Experience in a luxury hotel or hospitality company is an advantage
Technical Skills
Excellent command in written and spoken English
Excellent interpersonal, telephone and customer service skills
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
A good team player with approachable character, positive attitude and strong ownership.
Must be a highly motivated individual with ability to multi-task effectively, well organized and flexible in a change and eye-for-detail.
