As the Finance Enterprise Partner in DIA APAC Finance, you will work closely with regional and global stakeholders including the Head of Region, Value Stream & Chapter Leads, Sub Region Heads, Head of iKAM, functional heads with regional responsibility as well as Business Area Finance and Lifecycle Teams. You will be involved in the end-to-end planning process encompassing the Business Plan (T3) event, the Target Confirmation (T0) event, Baseline setting and Monthly Outlook, as well as providing relevant insights that will help management better understand our progress towards achieving our financial and commercial objectives. The scope of partnering will also encompass such aspects as launch planning & decisions, post launch monitoring, strategic & operational pricing, understanding market evolution in APAC including trends, risks and opportunities, establishing partnerships with external stakeholders etc.
The Opportunity
Partner successfully with the regional, sub-regional and/or affiliate commercial and finance leadership to achieve the desired business and financial outcomes by providing financial expertise and strategic insights, leveraging strong business acumen and deep understanding of financials to guide decision-making and resource allocations.
Form trusted relationships across the enterprise and act as a proactive and critical thought partner to business partners to shape and contribute to the long and short term business priorities.
Surface risks and opportunities that could affect or drive business performance and make appropriate business recommendations.
Participate in all planning cycles including the Business Plan, Target Setting and Monthly Outlook process in close collaboration with the Insights & Strategic Projects Chapter and business partners, enabled by key insights on external market trends, financial and related performance indicators, and ensuring close alignment with divisional / regional financial guardrails.
Maintain high forecast quality supported by robust business assumptions and drive the necessary conversations and/or decisions with business partners to ensure the business and financial objectives are achieved.
Pro-actively drive and influence value creations and business decisions in such topics as launch readiness and monitoring, product phase in / phase out, strategic and operational pricing, new business model, investment opportunity, risk mitigation, third party partnership, key account negotiation, market / competitor assessment, trade working capital optimization, margin improvement / protection, etc.
Work closely with Business Area Finance and Lifecycle Teams on portfolio lifecycle related matters.
Who you are
You should possess a University degree / MBA and/or Professional Accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA) and have at least 8 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis gained in an international environment with good knowledge of the APAC region and ideally are familiar with the diagnostics industry in the emerging and/or developed markets.
You have proven enterprise partnering capabilities in a complex environment as well as solid commercial acumen and proven ability to thrive in changing external environments.
You have solid working experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and strong analytical capabilities, including business and scenario modelling.
