A leading telecommunications provider in Singapore is seeking a Financial Consolidation Manager to oversee the consolidation of accounts and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accountancy/Finance with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in financial reporting, preferably within Big 4 firms. About the role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be in an individual contributor role. You will be responsible for the consolidation of company accounts under the Group and also ensure all mandatory reporting are submitted accurately and timely and in accordance to SFRS(I)s and SGX listing requirements. This is a full-time position based in the North-East region of Singapore.
What you'll be doing
Take charge of group monthly, quarterly and annual closing, consolidation and financial/management reporting function including analysis of variances
Preparation of half yearly SGX financial results and related announcements'
Preparation of Group financial statement and yearly annual report
Handle all SGX compliance matters
Prepare presentation materials for Audit Committee and Board meetings
Preparation of budget and forecast for the Group
Group Tax compliance
Work closely with the subsidiaries’ accountants and external parties like auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, share registrar and legal advisors
Ensure that all entities including overseas subsidiaries accounting policies comply with the Group policies
Continue enhancement on the Group Consolidation System
Recommend improvements on accounting workflow and procedures
What we're looking for
Min. degree in Accountancy/Finance; CA/CPA/ACCA preferred
Min. 10 years’ hands on experience in preparing consolidated financial and management reports for a large group
Prior working experience in Big 4 a MUST have
Familiarity and good knowledge with SFRS, tax, and SGX listing rules and Companies Act
Hands-on, detail-oriented, with strong analytical and communication skills
Able to work independently under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines
