Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional to support the financial operations of our Singapore office and our subsidiaries in the U.S. and Ireland. The role will be responsible for assisting with monthly closings, audit support, VAT filings, and the preparation of consolidated financial statements.

As our business continues to scale rapidly, we are expanding our finance team to ensure robust support for our growing operations. The successful candidate will work closely in parallel with our existing Finance Controller, collaborating on key initiatives and contributing to the integrity and accuracy of our financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic, global environment and play a vital role in strengthening our finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full set of accounts for subsidiaries in Singapore, the U.S., and Ireland
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
  • Support payroll processing in coordination with external providers and ensure accurate recording in the books
  • Handle cash transactions including outgoing remittances and incoming payments; manage AR/AP aging and reconciliation
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and internal management reports
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and internal financial policies

Requirements:

  • Singapore Permanent Resident or Citizen.
  • Fluent in the English language (speaking and writing).
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting
  • Knowledge of intercompany transactions and consolidation
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS)
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience handling accounting for multiple entities or regions
  • Familiarity with audit processes and tax filings across different jurisdictions
  • Prior experience in the aviation or aerospace industry is a plus
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification (completed or in progress)
