Finance Director

We are looking for a results-driven and confident Finance Director to manage and improve our organization's financial performance and oversee our accounting operations.

Duties include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating audits, and ensuring financial data accuracy.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a knack for numbers, be highly organized, and demonstrate excellent leadership. The Finance Director will streamline accounting functions, provide financial analysis and reports, train staff on finance issues, and promote compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations
• Coordinate and direct budget preparation and financial forecasting, report variances
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting
• Manage government reporting and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and internal controls
• Coordinate with external parties for account preparation
• Lead the finance team
• Perform additional controller duties as necessary

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Director
• At least 6 years of combined accounting and finance experience
• Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Familiarity with various accounting software
• Good communication skills
• Strong leadership capabilities
