Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and ensure the long-term sustainability of our organisation. As a key member of our management team, you'll oversee all the end-to-end financial operations, driving performance across all key financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Management:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, procedures, and internal controls.

  • Manage budgets, cash flow and investments.

  • Oversee financial reporting, budget forecasts and payroll function.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, manage audit and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Partner with senior management and governance bodies to support financial decision-making and strategic growth.

  • Lead and manage a team of finance and procurement professionals, providing guidance and support.

Requirements

  • Professional Finance Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Accountancy or ACCA (or equivalent). Proficient in MS Office and finance-related applications.

  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the hospitality, F&B, or service-oriented organisations. Payroll experience and knowledge of local payroll legislation would be an added advantage.

  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

  • Experience with Service-Oriented Organisations:

  • Strong understanding of the financial practices and operational needs unique to purpose-driven or community-focused organisations.

  • Knowledge of Singapore's Regulatory Environment: Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues in Singapore.
