With operations across Southeast Asia and West Africa, we leverage proprietary geological data, machine learning, and satellite remote sensing to drive early-stage exploration and structured investments in frontier markets.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Finance Director to lead our global finance function. This is a critical leadership role that combines financial control, operational execution, and investment analysis across complex jurisdictions. You’ll work alongside our Executive Team and field operators to ensure strong financial discipline, scalable systems, and data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Do
Lead Financial Operations

• Oversee accounting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial forecasting across group entities
• Build and enforce robust internal controls, reporting systems, and ERP implementation
• Manage external relationships with auditors, legal advisors, and financial institutions

Drive Project & Investment Finance

• Lead financial analysis and cost control for exploration and mining operations
• Support feasibility studies, capital planning, and asset valuations
• Partner with technical teams to align geological performance with financial outcomes

Support Strategic Transactions

• Execute financial due diligence and deal structuring for mining assets, JVs, and M&A
• Evaluate mineral licenses and concessions across Southeast Asia and West Africa
• Prepare investment memos and negotiate key commercial terms (NDAs, MoUs, SPAs, JVAs)

Governance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with local/international standards (IFRS, tax, regulatory)
• Provide timely reporting and analysis to executive leadership and shareholders

Who You Are
8+ years of finance leadership in mining, resources, or asset-heavy industries
Track record in project finance, ERP implementation, and cross-border controls
Strong understanding of mineral rights and regulatory frameworks in Africa and Asia
Skilled in translating technical and operational data into strategic financial insights
Fluent in English and Mandarin; French is a strong plus
Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Mining/Geology, or related field; CPA/MBA preferred
Willing to travel internationally (~30%)
