About The Role

The position will assist the CFO in financial strategy, accounting, budgeting, reporting, and treasury functions of ALPS Pte Ltd. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen to drive cost-effective solutions, ensure compliance, and support business growth in Singapore’s public healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Execute financial strategies to optimize procurement and supply chain operations.
  • Ensure alignment of financial planning with corporate objectives and healthcare industry regulations.
  • Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for OPEX & CAPEX investments.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely updates of costings for new and existing business activities.

Accounting & Compliance

  • Oversee financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
  • Continuously review and improve financial processes, policies, and control environments

Business Partnering & Operational Support

  • Collaborate with operational teams to implement new projects.
  • Engage site operations teams to address financial concerns and optimize work processes.
  • Assess profitability of business activities and ensure cost efficiency.

Treasury & Risk Management

  • Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate governance standards.

Key Deliverables

  • Accurate and timely financial and ESG reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Optimized budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Strengthened financial controls and compliance frameworks.
  • Effective collaboration with procurement and supply chain teams to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Continuous improvement in financial processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or ACCA qualification.
  • Degree in Economics, Computer Science, or Data Analytics with a strong MBA may be considered.
  • Minimum 10 years in finance leadership roles within logistics, supply chain, or healthcare industries.
  • Strong background in financial planning, reporting, and risk management.
  • Familiar in the use of LLM, RPA, and similar automation tools.
  • Strategic financial leadership with a focus on cost optimization.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to drive financial efficiency.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Meticulous, resourceful, and adaptable in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and regulatory compliance.
  • Innovative Thinking: Identifies opportunities for financial and operational improvements.
