Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Group AG in Singapore is seeking a Finance & Controlling Intern to support the Legal Entity Controlling team in financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives.

You will gain hands-on exposure to finance operations, reporting processes, and business performance analysis within a multinational environment, collaborating with regional stakeholders and using Excel, SAP and other financial systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in financial reporting, controlling, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of SAP or financial systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management presentations.
• Support budget planning and forecast activities by collecting, consolidating, and validating data.
• Maintain cost center tracking files and assist with basic variance analysis.
• Prepare reports and dashboards using Excel and other reporting tools.
• Support month‑end closing activities and financial data reconciliation.
• Assist in maintaining internal control documentation and tracking audit evidence.
• Update process documentation, reporting templates, and finance records.
• Support finance-related projects, process improvement initiatives, and ad hoc assignments.
