Description
Review and analyse monthly accounts and reconciliations.
Oversee the timely and accurate closure of monthly financial statements.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Develop and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets.
Identify opportunities to enhance financial efficiency and support cost-saving initiatives.
Provide quarterly financial reports covering actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Act as the main point of contact for auditors and regulatory authorities.
Prepare required audit documentation and respond to audit findings.
Follow up on post-audit recommendations to ensure proper implementation.
Profile
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or MBA would be an advantage).
At least 7 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial management, or audit coordination.
Prior experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or technology-driven company is required.
Solid understanding of SaaS business models and financial practices (e.g., subscription billing, deferred revenue, recurring revenue metrics).
Proficient in financial systems and tools such as ERP platforms and data visualization software.
Fluency in Mandarin will be highly beneficial due to the need to liaise with Mandarin-speaking finance staff and stakeholders.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and leadership abilities, with the capability to work across teams and influence stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
