Job Summary:

• Basic Salary: $5500 - $6000

• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm

• 1 Year Contract (Renewable/Convertible)

Job Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Lead the preparation and review of high-quality monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and internal financial policies.

• Coordinate and support the year-end statutory audit, liaise with external auditors to resolve audit queries and ensure timely sign-off of annual financial statements.

• Oversee tax-related matters including annual company tax fillings, transfer pricing, and GST compliance in collaboration with external tax agents.

• Financial Operations:

• Work closely with the Share Services Centre and Finance team to support smooth daily operations across AP, AR, GL, Treasury and month-end activities.

• Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce financial risk.

• Support the Finance team on cash management, intercompany transactions, and treasury-related matters.

• Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis:

• Provide analytical support during budgeting, reforecasting, and month-end closing.

• Assist with financial modelling and scenario planning for retail operations.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, commercial, and HR to support business objectives and ensure financial alignment.

• Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary for secretarial compliance.

Requirements:

• Degree or professional qualifications in Finance/Accounting (eg. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW)

• Minimum 5 years in a similar capacity, preferably within retail or FMCG industry. Experience in Big 4 audit firm is a strong advantage.

• Preferably in Retail or FMCG industry.

• SAP system preferred.
