Job description

A Singapore-listed property development company is seeking an experienced Finance Controller with prior SGX-listed company experience.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full set of accounts, group consolidation, and financial reporting

• Lead SGX-related reporting: prepare results announcements, board papers, and SGX submissions

• Ensure compliance with SGX listing rules, SFRS/IFRS, and statutory regulations

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and tax matters

• Liaise with auditors, company secretary, and regulatory bodies

• Implement internal controls and support corporate exercises (e.g. M&A, restructuring)

• Must be hands-on and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA)

• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior finance role

• Prior experience in SGX-listed companies is mandatory

• Strong knowledge of SGX reporting requirements, including preparation of announcement packs and regulatory submissions

• Solid understanding of SFRS/IFRS, tax, and statutory compliance

• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently in a lean team environment

• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills

• Fluent in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders

• Experience in property development or real estate industry is an advantage
