Job summary

AcroMeta Group Ltd. seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead governance, compliance, and reporting for a public company listed on SGX Catalist.

You will drive financial reporting, sponsor engagement, and ensure regulatory adherence while strengthening internal controls and coordinating with auditors. The role requires 5+ years in financial management within a SGX-listed environment and a professional certification (CA/CPA/ACCA).

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA or ACCA certification required.
• At least 5+ years of financial management experience in a SGX-listed environment.
• Proven experience with SGX Catalist compliance and sponsor dealings.
• Strong knowledge of governance, IFRS/SFRS standards, and internal controls.
• Experience liaising with external auditors, regulators, and tax consultants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement closures.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analyses.
• Optimize working capital and manage treasury functions.
• Prepare SGX reporting per Catalist rules and coordinate with sponsor.
• Lead annual reports, sustainability reports, and circulars.
• Strengthen internal controls and liaise with auditors and tax advisors.

This role requires a strong understanding of SGX Catalist listing rules, sponsor engagement, and financial reporting for a public company. The ideal candidate will ensure regulatory compliance and oversees all financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Operations

• Manage Group Consolidation: Oversee timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead Budgeting Cycles: Drive annual forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
• Optimize Working Capital: Monitor funding requirements and manage corporate treasury functions.

SGX Catalist Compliance

• Ensure SGX Compliance: Prepare half-yearly and full-year financial results per SGX Catalist listing rules.
• Manage Announcements: Coordinate with the Continuing Sponsor for all material disclosures and corporate actions.
• Draft Annual Reports: Lead the production of annual reports, sustainability reports, and circulars.

Governance, Risk & Tax

• Strengthen Internal Controls: Maintain robust internal control frameworks to safeguard company assets.
• Liaise with Auditors: Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.
• Oversee Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate corporate tax, GST filing, and transfer pricing documentation.

Job Requirements
