Responsibilities:
- Ensure our day-to-day accounting and monthly close procedures are happening accurately and within internal deadlines.
- Preparation of Financial statements for all three entities and ensuring that we get the audits done within the statutory deadlines.

- Develop a thorough understanding of Atlan's accounting processes and identify key areas for improvement. Set up a process flow map if needed.
- Ensuring that the books are closed every month within the deadlines.
- Drive improvements in our day-to-day accounting processes so that the books can be closed faster every month.
What does success look like in 180 days?
- Doing key reconciliations and preparing financial statements.
- Ensuring that the audits are completed with minimum adjustments and within the deadlines
What is the tangible business impact this person will make in the next 12 months?
- Improve the accuracy of our accounting data.
- Make the accounting team more efficient and help in the faster closure of books on a monthly basis.
- Ensure that the Financial statements of all three entities are prepared in line with the respective GAAPs and that the audits are completed within the deadlines.
Requirements:
- Essentials: Minimum of three years of experience in the statutory audit team or CFO advisory team of a Big 4 firm or in the controllership team in a corporate environment in SaaS/ IT/ITes environment.
- Desirables: Experience in US GAAP.
Technical Skills:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Sound knowledge of IGAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.
- Experience in NetSuite would be an advantage.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong team player with the ability to build positive relationships and foster collaboration across departments.
