Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and overseeing all finance and accounting operations and provide guidance to finance team for daily operations and accounting functions

• Prepare, review and analyse monthly management reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly/quarterly financial and management reporting to management and HQ and make recommendation for improvement

• Review and ensure accuracy of GST, corporate tax, withholding tax and other statutory and legal reporting

• Prepare, analyse and monitor budgets and forecasts

• Liaise with internal and external auditors/auditors/government authorities/bankers/etc

• Develop policies for all finance and credit related processes and procedures and ensure compliance to international accounting standards and HQ accounting policies

• Keep abreast of key changes in accounting standards and GST & Tax regulations and provide updates to finance team and implement relevant policy changes

• Plan and implement internal control systems to ensure an efficient and effective accounting system and compliance to J-Sox and HQ rules and regulations

• Review and analyse project costing, financial ratios and its implication and recommend countermeasures and cost improvement

• Review, recommend and implement process improvement and digitalization

• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior

Requirement

• Degree in Accountancy from a recognized university or equivalent

• At least 5 years' experience in supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge in Corporate Tax, Financial Reporting Standards and Tax Laws

• Hands-on experience in project costing and accounts consolidation, and SAP
