Job summary

DayOne is a global leader in data infrastructure with a growing footprint across international markets. We seek a meticulous finance professional to support US GAAP reporting, SEC filings, and IPO readiness in a multinational data centre environment.

The Assistant Manager will contribute to group reporting, external audit coordination, and internal controls, while advancing IPO-related disclosures and financial statement conversion. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional qualification.
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification (or actively pursuing).
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience; Big 4 background is preferred.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP financial reporting and SEC filings.
• Exposure to NASDAQ IPO or public company reporting environment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance frameworks and internal control concepts.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting matters clearly.
• High level of integrity and a collaborative, ownership-driven approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Assist in management reports and variance analyses with clear financial commentary.
• Prepare supporting schedules for executive, audit committee, and board reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors, IPO advisors, and regulators as directed by Finance Manager.
• Assist in SEC filings (Form S-1, 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) for NASDAQ-listed or IPO-ready entities.
• Support IPO readiness activities including financial statement conversion, disclosure drafting, and coordination with underwriters and legal advisors.
