Job Summary:

• Company background: MNC Retail

• Working location: Central

• Working days: Monday to Friday ; 9 AM – 6PM (Hybrid Mode –WFH)

• Contract : 1 year contract

• Salary range: up to SGD 6500 (dep on exp) + 21 days Annual Leave + Variable Bonus + Staff Discount

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible in Financial Reporting & Compliance by leading the preparation and review of high-quality monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and internal financial policies.

• Coordinate and support the year-end statutory audit, liaise with external auditors to resolve audit queries and ensure timely sign-off of annual financial statements.

• Oversee tax-related matters including annual company tax fillings, transfer pricing, and GST compliance in collaboration with external tax agents.

• Work closely with the Finance Operations Share Services Centre and Finance team to support smooth daily operations across AP, AR, GL, Treasury and month-end activities as well as other cross-functional teams, e.g: marketing.

• Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce financial risk.

• Support the Finance team on cash management, intercompany transactions, and treasury-related matters.

• Provide analytical support during budgeting, reforecasting, and month-end closing.

• Assist with financial modelling and scenario planning for retail operations.

• Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary for secretarial compliance.

• Preferably relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting or professional qualification e.g: ACCA, CPA, ISCA, ICAEW

• Relevant 3 to 5 years related working experiences in retails, FMCG or similar industry or experienced in Big4 audit firm is plus point

• Relevant experiences in CAPEX/OPEX, good knowledge of accounting principles, Singapore tax regulations and internal controls.

• Hands-on experience with SAP and strong Excel skills are required.
