Job Description

  • Working on Business Plan, Budget, Tracking, reporting, and analysing budget variances
  • Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate
  • Preparing accurate financial statements including month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Establishing and maintaining effective financial accounting controls and systems
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations
  • Manage cash flow including Cash Flow forecasting
  • Monitor internal controls including working designing proper control processes, effectiveness of the internal control.
  • Ensure financial compliance. Understanding external reporting requirements,
  • Identify cost savings - understanding operational efficiencies
  • Overseeing tax filings
  • Overseeing the accounting function and book keeping as per statutory requirements
  • Mentoring the team and Knowledge sharing on compliances
  • Supporting managers in annual budget formulation
  • Facilitating statutory audits - Preparing annual financial statements and liaising with external auditor

Job requirements

  • Recognised degree in accountancy/ ACCA
  • Preferably 8-10 years experience in similar position
  • Knowledge in public listed company will be an advantage
  • High level of initiative & ability to work independently
  • Meticulous and ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
