Job summary

Lotte Shopping Holdings is seeking a hands-on Finance & Accounting Associate to join our Singapore team. You will support business operations by delivering financial insights and ensuring strong financial controls, interacting with cross-functional teams and external auditors as required.

The role extends beyond traditional accounting, offering exposure to both finance and business operations in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English; Malay language skills are a plus.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP/AR processes including invoicing, reconciliation, and collections.
• Prepare journal entries, expense claims, and maintain proper documentation.
• Perform month-end closing and support financial statement preparation (IFRS).
• Maintain fixed assets register and depreciation.
• Handle banking transactions including payments and GIRO.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash reports.
• Support GST filing, corporate tax filings, and tax compliance.
• Support statutory audit and liaise with external auditors.
• Analyze sales, margins, and cost structure to support business decisions.
• Provide financial insights for Private Brand and retail operations.
• Support pricing, promotions, and profitability analysis.
• Assist in new business initiatives and investment reviews.
• Support ERP implementation and process enhancement.
