Job summary

Swiss Re invites graduates to join its 18-month Graduate Programme in Singapore, spanning Finance Operations & Transformation. You will rotate across business units, gaining on-the-job and off-the-job training, exposure to critical reporting, and management discussions.

You’ll contribute to key accounting and reporting initiatives, support processes, and coordinate management information materials, collaborating with senior professionals across departments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance required; CPA or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong research and analytical skills with ability to apply concepts to actions in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Power BI and programming skills (VB/Python) are a plus; English fluency essential.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement the internal control process of finance governance.
• Understand and practice the monthly closing process, including local adjustments.
• Prepare statutory & regulatory reports under IFRS 17 and MAS regulations respectively.
• Deep dive into business nature to explain numbers to external auditors.
• Support cross-department projects and initiatives, including Tax, Asset Management and Actuaries.
