Job description

What you'll do:

As a Finance Analyst, you will be at the heart of the finance planning function for the region. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with diverse teams to prepare accurate forecasts, budgets, and reports that underpin critical business strategies. You will interpret complex financial data to provide actionable insights that help shape organisational direction. By leveraging your technical proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, you will ensure seamless integration of information from various sources. Your ability to communicate findings clearly through presentations will make you an invaluable partner to both local teams and global stakeholders.   • Support the finance planning processes by preparing monthly forecasts, annual operating plans, and budgeting deliverables for the region.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including marketplace, demand planning, supply chain, and controlling teams to ensure accurate financial data integration.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial results by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform timely business decisions.
  • Assist in managing the monthly forecast process, including detailed reporting and comprehensive financial reviews.
  • Partner with both local finance teams and global headquarters to deliver consistent monthly planning and reporting outputs.
  • Drive the performance management process by maintaining robust risk assessments and identifying areas for improvement or optimisation.
  • Synthesize complex data from multiple sources efficiently to support strategic recommendations and actionable insights.
  • Prepare clear and compelling presentations of financial analysis using advanced PowerPoint skills for various stakeholders.
  • Utilise ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle along with other finance software tools to streamline reporting processes.
  • Contribute positively to a team-oriented environment by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and embracing open communication.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a closely related field is required for this position.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting or Strategic Planning within large multinational or Fortune 500 companies is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, budgeting processes, reporting standards, analysis methodologies and strategic planning frameworks is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including use of complex formulas, pivot tables and data queries is necessary for success in this role.
  • Proven ability to conduct both quantitative and qualitative analyses while developing robust financial models that support decision-making is expected.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with experience building clear presentations that effectively communicate financial conclusions are important assets.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle as well as familiarity with finance/accounting software like BW, BPC, COPA, TM1, Business Objects or Tableau is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional partners across different regions are vital for this position.
