A leading company in lift engineering is seeking a Financial Controller to partner with the New Installation / Modernisation team. The successful candidate will provide financial insights, manage budgeting processes, and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, enhancing overall financial performance.
NI / Modernisation Controlling:
· Function as a business partner to the New Installation / Modernisation team, providing financial advice to drive the achievement of financial targets and corporate objectives.
· Work closely with the business team to lead and prepare monthly project forecasting, annual budgets, and management reports.
· Handle monthly and year-end closing processes.
· Conduct in-depth financial data analysis to identify issues, uncover root causes, and collaborate with the business team to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
· Monitor project costing closely and implement initiatives to reduce overruns.
· Collaborate cross-functionally to improve net working capital.
· Review and ensure adherence to internal controls.
Finance Operations:
· Deliver accurate and timely financial and management reports to support business monitoring and ensure compliance with statutory audits, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
· Perform and review monthly accounting reconciliations.
· Support internal and external audits.
· Lead or assist with ad hoc projects or activities as assigned.
