A leading organization in providing care for the aged is looking for an experienced administrative staff member to manage invoicing, payments, and communication with residents. This role requires at least an LCCI accounting qualification and two years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should have a pleasant demeanor and good communication skills, particularly with Mandarin speakers, to effectively engage with residents and their families.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Monthly invoicing of nursing home fees and other charges to residents.
Collection of payments from residents.
Track residents’ insurance payouts eg: IDAPE and Eldershield.
Update transactions into accounting software.
Generate Statement of Account to residents and follow up with outstanding receivables.
Handle all other administrative matters pertaining to residents and next of kin at the Home.
General administrative duties (eg: attend to walk in and call in enquiries) and any other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements:
Attained at least LCCI accounting qualification
Minimum 2 years of working experience
Pleasant personality and good team-spirit
Able to communicate well with people from various walks of life
Able to speak Mandarin and/or dialects is advantageous as need to liaise with Mandarin/dialect speaking clients
