A leading finance firm in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager with 10-15 years of experience. The incumbent will be responsible for managing financial statements, regulatory compliance, and intercompany transactions within a holding company structure. Ideal candidates will have a Chartered Accountant certification and expertise in consolidated reporting under IFRS, along with strong analytical and supervision skills.
Summary of Responsibilities
1. Ensure timely reconciliation and finalisation of accounts.
2. Suggest value creation ideas to curate the balance sheets to support group’s growth plans and optimisation of company specific capital structure
3. Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual HoldCo financial statements.
4. Oversee inter-company loans, revaluations, and eliminations.
5. Support audit processes and regulatory compliance.
6. Lead or assist in accounting system migrations as needed.
Essential Experience and Skills :
• At least 10–15 years of accounting experience, with a significant portion focused on holding company structures and consolidated financial statements.
• Deep understanding of preparing annual and quarterly financial statements for holding companies, including compliance with regulatory bodies and tax authorities.
• Proven ability to manage intercompany transactions, eliminate intra-group balances, and handle consolidated reporting under IFRS or relevant standards.
• Strong background in bookkeeping, cash management, and reconciliation of multiple legal entities and bank accounts.
• Ability to supervise and train junior staff or assistants, and coordinate with family offices or bookkeepers.
• Familiarity with regulatory filings, “Notice of Good Standing,” and audit requirements for holding and subsidiary companies.
Professional Qualifications
• Chartered Accountant certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
Additional Competencies
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
