Job summary

KOTRA Singapore K-Move Center is seeking a hands-on Finance & Accounting Associate to join our Singapore team. You will manage AP/AR, month-end closing, journal entries, and tax compliance while contributing to business insights and cost analyses.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and strong Excel skills. SAP experience is a plus; Singapore work eligibility (PR/citizenship) is required. December 2026 start date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience in Retail / Trading / Import-export industry preferred.
• Hands-on experience in month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Singapore tax regulations (GST, Corporate Tax).
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Good business acumen and analytical mindset.
• Proficiency in English; Malay language skills are a plus.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Eligible to work in Singapore (PR or citizenship).
• Available to commence in December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP/AR processes including invoicing, reconciliation, and collections
• Prepare journal entries, expense claims, and maintain proper documentation
• Perform month-end closing and support financial statement preparation (IFRS)
• Maintain fixed assets register and depreciation
• Handle banking transactions including payments and GIRO
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash reports
• Support treasury-related activities and funding requirements
• Support GST filing, corporate tax (ECI, Form C), and IR8A submissions
• Handle withholding tax (WHT) matters
• Ensure compliance with ACRA and statutory requirements
• Support statutory audit and liaise with external auditors
• Prepare reports and respond to HQ finance requirements
• Analyze sales, margins, and cost structure to support business decisions
• Provide financial insights for PB and retail operations
• Support pricing, promotions, and profitability analysis
• Assist in new business initiatives and investment reviews
• Support ERP implementation and process enhancement
• Improve finance workflows and internal controls
