A leading company seeks a skilled Finance Accountant to manage core accounting functions and support strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a degree in finance, and the ability to work independently. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, handling audits, and ensuring compliance with regulations, making this a crucial role within the finance team.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Finance Accountant to oversee core accounting functions, support board-related reporting, and contribute to strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. This role reports directly to senior leadership and involves close coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage full sets of accounts for the company and its affiliated entities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with SFRS
Perform timely month-end and year-end closing activities
Conduct bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet schedules
Handle GST filings, corporate tax returns, and statutory compliance
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries
Prepare management reports and financial dashboards for board meetings
Assist in annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and mid-term planning
Review and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation practices
Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll support, and claims processing
Support special projects related to corporate finance, treasury, or strategic expansion
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CA Singapore)
At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in full-set accounting, preferably in Singapore
Strong understanding of Singapore financial regulations and tax compliance
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalents
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving mindset
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple deadlines
Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting financial reports to management
Experience in group consolidation or multi-entity reporting
Exposure to transfer pricing or intercompany accounting
Bilingual in English and Mandarin is an advantage (for liaising with overseas offices)
