Field Welding Engineer

Job Description

• Responsible for the coordination of welding inspection and quality issue handling for boilers, pipes, steel structures, and equipment at the engineering installation site, ensuring that the project quality and acceptance standards are met.
• Responsible for preparing relevant documents required for welding inspection, including RFI, welding map, fit-up, welding reports, welding summary, and other files.
• As a foreman, responsible for applying for night non-destructive testing radiographic inspection work permits and coordinating night field NDT.
• Familiar with and able to read equipment installation and pipeline drawings, conducting on-site quality inspections and preparing materials according to drawing requirements.
• Adaptable to the field work environment, including high-altitude work and confined space environments.

Job Requirements

• Possess experience in engineering installation sites, with a preference for candidates with backgrounds in welding, pipeline installation, boiler specialty, non-destructive testing, and related fields.
• Familiar with European welding processes and EN quality standards, able to independently complete welding quality inspection and documentation, and inspection work.
• Possess good communication and coordination skills and a team spirit, able to communicate effectively with on-site construction personnel and supervisors.
• Able to adapt to overtime and night shift work, possessing good professional ethics and a sense of responsibility.
• Able to proficiently use office software for data organization and summarization.

Willing to travel to Tuas Nexus Drive (transport provided at Taus MRT pick up point).
