Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Field Technician to perform installation, servicing, and repair of equipment and engines at customer sites. The role involves both field and workshop-based activities to ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment and engines.
• Conduct inspection and identify faulty or worn components requiring replacement.
• Prepare and list required spare parts and replacement components for repair work.
• Estimate man-hours and resources needed for repair or service tasks.
• Assist in system setup, commissioning, and operational testing.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ensure all service activities are carried out safely and in compliance with company and site standards.
• When there are no field assignments or related tasks, the technician will be attached to the Workshop Supervisor to assist with workshop from time to time.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in field service or engine repair preferred (training provided for new hires).
• Able to communicate in both English and Chinese to liaise with customers and vendors.
• Possess valid Class 3 and Class 2 driving licences.
• Must possess own motorcycle for field service duties.
• Capable of performing field service and engine repair work.
• Able to identify and list replacement components.
• Able to provide estimated man-hours for repair tasks.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor or workshop environments.
• Positive attitude, team player, and willing to learn — training will be provided on our products.
