At Hendricks Innovation team, we work in a fast-paced and high-growth environment. We are looking for a results-driven independent performer that is passionate about Video Analytics and technology.

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and securing internal infrastructure using containers and orchestrators. This role requires a strong understanding of security best practices and the ability to manage user access in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, implement, and manage current hardware infrastructure.

● Ensure a certain level of security for the current infrastructure and its components through regular audits and updates.

● Manage user access to the current infrastructure.

● Ensure infrastructure reliability and availability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

● Virtualize hardware for different functions such as Machine Learning training and isolated staging environments when is required.

● Collaborate with other teams to understand their infrastructure requirements and provide solutions.

● Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of hardware and networking.

● Hands-on in the deployment to the client and proactively monitoring for deployment in the client site.

● Document and communicate infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices.

● Maintain adequate IT documentation, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions, and contracts for external stakeholders.

● Facilitate small-to-medium complexity projects from initiation to release and provide oversight to ensure alignment with Agile practices.

● Regularly review project status to mitigate risk, provide project guidance, and facilitate the need for business and/or technical clarifications with project participants when is required

● Create and maintain artifacts/documentation to ensure transparent progress and outcomes

● Facilitate product demos and presentations while meeting quality standards when is required

● Apply knowledge creatively to address unique and/or ambiguous situations and problem.

● Develop processes and methods to share knowledge among project stakeholders

● Provide knowledge transfer for the projects deployed to end-users.

● When necessary, proactive in the discussion with our key partners and clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in managing large-scale, production infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes will be a plus.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security solutions is a plus.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security, server hardening, and firewall administration will be a plus
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or GCP.
• Ability to manage and maintain infrastructure using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Knowledge of ISO requirements is a plus.
• Cyber Security certification such as CEH, CISM, or CISSP is a plus.
• Basic understanding of MLOps or machine learning hardware requirements is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
