Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for installation, calibration, and repair of the electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, electronic measurement recording, indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards.

  • Sets up standard and special purpose measurement equipment in customers' facilities.
  • Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.
  • Aligns, repairs, and replaces equipment parts and circuitry.
  • Reassembles and calibrates instruments and equipment.
  • Complies with respective calibration standards as required by the customer.
  • Install the new equipment at customers' facilities.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on measurement instrument/equipment.
  • To liaise with relevant departments on service-related matters.
  • To communicate unresolved problems and customer’s feedback to factory.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members for on-site activities.
  • Adhering to Company and Customers’ site safety policy and requirement.

REQUIREMENT

  • Dynamic and hardworking.
  • A good diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A team player, meticulous and organized.
  • Good knowledge on laboratory instrument and system would be an advantage
  • Possesses a valid class 3 driving license and vehicle would be preferred.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work overtime include Weekend and Public Holiday when necessary.
