A leading company in the industrial equipment sector seeks a skilled field service technician to perform installations and provide after-sales support across the APAC region. This role requires technical expertise in electrical or mechanical systems, excellent communication, and a strong solution-oriented mindset. If you are comfortable with on-site assignments and have experience in field service, this position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for regional travel.
Perform on-site installation, setup, and commissioning of industrial equipment at client facilities across the APAC region.
Carry out routine maintenance, calibration, and system diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including older-generation machinery.
Provide clear technical guidance and operational training to customers and end-users.
Lead and support post-installation service projects, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
Deliver both on-site and remote support as part of the after-sales service function.
Maintain accurate service documentation, including technical reports and work logs.
Work independently on field assignments, ensuring safety, quality, and professionalism.
Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related discipline).
3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in technical field service or industrial equipment support.
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., manufacturing, engineering services) is advantageous.
Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities, with a solution-focused mindset.
Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficient in basic office productivity tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).
Comfortable with frequent regional travel and working independently on-site.
