Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct workshop and on-site repair for the full range of the company’s power protection and UPS products.
• Perform preventive maintenance, testing, and commissioning of power protection equipment.
• Carry out workshop and field battery replacement for all UPS systems.
• Provide service support and on-site attendance for third-party systems related to Kohler UPS and data centre solutions.
• Deliver written, verbal, and telephone technical support to internal and external customers.
• Provide 24/7 customer support, including standby duties and site attendance.
• Coordinate installation, delivery, and project management activities for customer orders and contractual requirements.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and assets in safe, secure, and presentable condition at all times.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of departmental, company, and customer service documentation.
• Continuously upgrade knowledge and skills related to the company’s product portfolio.
• Respond professionally and promptly to all service requests, including urgent or on-call cases.
• Assist the Service Manager in daily operations of the Field Service Department.
• Comply with all reasonable duties and assignments as instructed by the Service Manager.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing electrical capital equipment—preferably within the power protection or UPS industry.
