Job description

Position: Field Service Engineer / Technician (Heavy Industrial Equipments) - Up to $4,500 – Bukit Batok

Location: Bukit Batok

Working hours: 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 9.00AM to 5.00PM

Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,500 Basic + AWS + 14 Days Annual Leave + Company Mobile Line

Duration: Perm

Responsibilities:

1. To perform service and repair jobs in the service field operation.
2. To proactively market the sales of Service Contract, Machine Repair and Maintenance to new and existing customers.
3. To provide technical expertise to all under his responsibility and assist Service team in trouble shooting and machine issues.
4. To provide service team with technical expertise on machine trouble shooting and breakdown analysis.
5. Organize product demo according to the needs of the customer.
6. Plan visits to customers and report on the visit conducted.
7. To offer service contracts to customers promptly or within one month of equipment delivery; with the assistance of Service Manager.
8. To ensure a Service Report is filled up and signed by the customer upon completion of every service job.
9. To perform service jobs in the after-sales service operation and workshop service.
10. To be responsible for all the service tools and equipment issued, including company vehicle.
11. To keep track and record all the spare parts and inventory.
12. To observe the company’s safety policy, housekeeping, and operation procedures in the course of work.
13. Assisting in overseeing parts and/or service sales and delivery to customers.
14. Assisting General Manager in overseeing Parts and/or Service sales and delivery to customers.
15. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum 4 years of service experience in heavy duty equipment.
3. Ability to read electrical diagrams, hydraulic schematics.
4. Basic computer skills, including experience with entering documentation/notes about repairs.
5. Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese associates who can converse in Mandarin only.
