Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and upgrade cutting-edge equipment at customer sites in Singapore. You will diagnose issues using digital analytics and electrical/mechanical schematics, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and communicate directly with customers to ensure seamless operations.

The role requires site work across electrical, vacuum, mechanical, and plasma systems, with training provided for complex tasks

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment at sites.
• Use digital analytics for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems (training provided).
• Coordinate with customers to ensure smooth operations and service quality.
• Follow safety, environmental, and COVID-19 protocols on site.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and other field staff to resolve issues.
