A leading company in the semiconductor industry seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, and maintain their products in the SEA region. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and excellent customer communication abilities. This role requires significant travel and offers the opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic environment.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
Responsible for Installation, Repair and Maintenance of Onto Innovation products, this includes Metrology and Inspection tools.
Install new tools within the SEA region. Completing both Engineering and Applications tasks.
Respond to down tool situations within SEA and requests for Maintenance when required.
Provide correct documentation requested and feedback to the US factory as needed.
Provide feedback to sales team as required. Helping provide possible leads for future sales.
Providing service feedback in order to look at constant product improvement.
Qualifications
Preferred 2 to 3 years Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Business.
Previous knowledge of equipment fault detection. With experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Software.
Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time.
Preferred experience in Semiconductor applications.
College/University degree in engineering.
Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting.
Excellent interpersonal & customer communication skills.
Ability to efficiently utilize all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
