Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Installation & Commissioning
- Perform installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct machine testing and verification to ensure proper operation.
- Configure machine settings according to customer requirements.
- Provide site acceptance testing (SAT) support.
Technical Service & Maintenance
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
- Repair and replace defective components.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime through effective troubleshooting.
- Maintain service records and maintenance reports.
Customer Technical Support
- Provide on-site and remote technical support.
- Respond promptly to customer service requests and breakdown calls.
- Advise customers on machine operation and maintenance best practices.
- Build strong customer relationships and maintain high customer satisfaction
Training & Documentation
- Train customers' operators and maintenance personnel.
- Prepare service reports after each visit.
- Maintain installation, maintenance, and repair documentation.
- Assist in developing maintenance procedures and user guides
Continuous Improvement
- Provide feedback to engineering and sales teams regarding customer issues and machine improvements.
- Support machine upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Requirement
- Diploma or ITC/NTC in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Industrial Automation or Related Technical Discipline
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in machinery installation, maintenance, or field service.
- Experience with industrial equipment, automation systems, CNC machinery, laser systems, film processors, semiconductor equipment, or packaging machines is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, servo systems, and industrial automation.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
- Computer literacy for report preparation and service documentation.
