A leading provider of maritime control and automation systems is looking to hire a Service Engineer to support its growing customer base across the Southeast Asia region and beyond. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in marine navigation systems who enjoys solving problems and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver on-site and remote technical support, commissioning, and servicing for navigation systems onboard vessels.

  • Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and workshop testing to ensure equipment functions at optimal standards.

  • Prepare technical documentation including service reports, cable layouts, and system updates.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide backend support and resolve customer issues efficiently.

  • Assist the sales team with technical input when needed and manage administrative tasks linked to service activities.

  • Support other ad-hoc technical assignments as required.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Prior hands-on experience with ship navigation systems is essential; experience with bridge or propulsion control systems is a plus.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills, especially in remote support settings.

  • Willingness to travel internationally at short notice for service assignments.
