BASIC FUNCTIONS

We are seeking Marine Field Service Engineers for commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of marine generators. Qualified candidates should have hands-on experience with assembly and repair of Marine Generators, and/or familiarity with marine electronics and automation systems.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Standby support and 24/7 emergency customer support.
• Providing after-sales technical support, site recovery, and maintenance to distributors and end customers.
• Install, commission, and provide on-site training according to project scope.
• Generate systematic service reports for customers.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product failures.
• Identify root causes of failures and recommend solutions.
• Assess damage and repairs for warranty claims from distributors.
• Maintain close relationships with key customers to ensure issue resolution.
• Develop and update service training materials and documentation.
• Train distributors and dealers in service and troubleshooting skills to ensure high service levels.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, team-oriented, and task-focused.
• Customer service orientation and enthusiasm for power generation, electrical, and control systems.
• Equivalent professional backgrounds considered.
• Experience with control systems like John Deere ECU and KDI ECU, and synchronization systems, is advantageous.
