  • Perform fault diagnosis and resolve reported technical issues in a systematic and timely manner
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting in accordance with company procedures (e.g., software/database updates, service reports)
  • Submit accurate technical and service work reports within required deadlines
  • Provide technical support to the service coordination team for job planning and follow-up
  • Execute work in full compliance with NACOS’s Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) guidelines and customer procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in marine automation, electrical, or control systems
  • Solid understanding of automation processes and PLC systems (e.g. WAGO, Siemens, Mitsubishi)
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN Bus) and network components (e.g. Moxa switches)
  • Experience with automation hardware/software, alarm monitoring systems, and ideally engine governor or maneuvering systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC tools, good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a structured, analytical approach
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to work in shipyard or onboard environments
