Job summary

Edwards, a brand within the Atlas Copco Group, is seeking a frontline service engineer in Singapore to perform installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of Edwards products. You will adhere to SOPs, conduct software setup and basic analytics, and provide detailed feedback and reports to enable informed decisions.

A standby and shift pattern may be required to meet contractual commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year working experience in engineering, service or maintenance with external customers.
• Fresh graduates with engineering certificates considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of Edwards products.
• Follow defined work processes, risk assessments and SOPs.
• Carry out software setup, basic analytics and fault-finding, escalate issues as needed.
• Provide clear field service feedback and reports to supervisor for root-cause analysis.
• Be prepared for standby duty and shift patterns to meet customer commitments.

Job description

You will be expected to deliver frontline support in key operational activities including installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of Edwards products, with key areas of focus being on safety and quality whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be expected to work in a fast paced and demanding enviroment, resilient mindset is essential for this role which offers an oppotunity to learn and develop your engineering skills by working on exciting and highly technical equipment. Whilst delivering the frontline support, you are also required to collaborate with sales organization on technical and product related information in order to support the business development.

Your role:

• Conduct key operational activities, for example, installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of Edwards products.
• Adherence to defined work processes, risk assessment and SOP is required to be strictly comply.
• Undertake sofeware setup, operation, maintenance and (basic) analytics. Conducts basic fault-findings and troubleshooting support to resolve or elevate issues within agreed contractual timeframes and or Service level agreements to meet customer expectations.
• Provides detailed dand accurate feedback on field service activities and compiles clear and concise reports for submission to your supervisor to enable informed decisions to be made to resolve product issues.
• Due to the nature of the role and EDWARDS is committed to providing on-site support for 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, there will be a requirement to perform standby duty and/or work shift patterns to meet customer contractural commitments and/or as part of an emergency coverage plan.

To succeed, you will need

• Minimum 1 yearworking experience ina related engineering industry or technical experience in an engineering, service or maintenance role, involving direct contract with external and internal customers.
• Fresh graduates with engineering certificates will be considered
• Strong customer focus to ensure delivered solutions to meet customer expectations and timeframes, whilst working in alignment with Edwards strategies and processes.
• Able to interact positively in a multi-cultural and multilingual environment.
• Team player, able to provide support within the team and when required by the Manager.
