Job summary

Chemoscience Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated service technician specializing in after-sales support for laboratory and analytical equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance in a fast-paced environment, requiring engineering skills and strong communication. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, adaptable, and possess at least 2 years of relevant experience in the scientific industry. A valid driving license will be advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience in service / maintenance within scientific industry.
  • Valid Class 3 driving license and personal vehicle will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of robotic liquid handling equipment will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide after-sales service support, installation, commissioning, and repair of laboratory/ research/ analytical equipment.
  • Provide technical consultation to customers.
  • Respond to customers’ requests by troubleshooting problems and taking corrective actions within targeted timeline.
  • Prepare service reports.
  • Understand technical drawings/troubleshooting charts.
  • High level of electrical/electronic troubleshooting down to component level.
  • Experience with analytical instruments and related installation/preventive maintenance/service procedure (Liquid Handling).
  • Learn and assimilate new technology quickly.
  • Provide quality repair and preventive maintenance service of company analytical equipment at customer site.

REQUIREMENTS and TECHNICAL

  • High Level of troubleshooting attitude and adapt to multi-tasking environment

  • Ability to work under pressure and strong problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with good business acumen
