This position reports to the Field Service Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will execute service work of low to medium complexity following work instructions, ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. You will plan and perform work with a first-time right approach, focusing on customer satisfaction. You will demonstrate expertise by understanding the urgency and care required in your responsibilities. The work model is onsite, contributing to ABB's Process Automation Marine and Ports Division based in Singapore. Your main accountabilities include:

• Collaborating with customers onsite to identify opportunities for operational improvements and pain point elimination.
• Performing field service tasks, diagnosing technical issues, and conducting analysis remotely or onsite across service categories and products.
• Preparing material lists for service activities and ensuring the availability of quality materials, parts, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting equipment and process failures, requesting corrective actions proactively, and recommending future preventive measures.

Qualifications for the role

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering with 1-2 years of experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Enjoy hands-on field work such as service, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to different environments.
• Driven, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset.
• Flexible to travel and willing to visit sites as needed.
• Comfortable communicating in English.
• Possess current work rights in Singapore.
