Field Sales Representative, Public Sector, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in software sales and account management at an enterprise B2B software company.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software and exceeding goals.
  • Experience working with and presenting to executive-level audiences.
  • Experience managing partners on implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience with commercial and legal agreements working with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with sales engineers and technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a territory account planning process that aligns partner and Google resources to cultivate business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive consistent new business growth by managing the process.
  • Build executive relationships with customers and leverage existing relationships to expand into new organizations. Influence strategic direction and serve as a business partner.
  • Discuss and manage complete processes, often presenting to executives in corporate customers.
  • Promote growth strategies within Google’s partner ecosystem, scaling with partners that deliver innovative solutions to drive new market value.
