Develop and expand the company's presence within the South APAC region, primarily focusing on Singapore. This will involve travel to other territories, including Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Regularly visit customers on-site to provide product presentations, introduce new offerings, technologies, and information, and discuss ongoing and future projects.
Collaborate closely with distributors and partners.
Engage with decision-makers, understand customer requirements, competitors, and sales situations, and develop sales and marketing action plans accordingly.
Work with customers, field application engineers, and specialists in Singapore, Germany, China, Japan, and the USA to propose solutions tailored to customer needs.
Follow up on customer projects, sales situations, and market demands, and create weekly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Organize and participate in trade shows and road shows.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in a similar Field Sales Engineer role.
Knowledge in Motion & Control, System Integration, and/or Automation machine fields (e.g., linear translation stages, linear motors, drivers, motion controllers, gantry systems).
Ability to engage with new customers and develop customer engagements/collaborations.
Eagerness to learn new technologies, customer applications, and markets.
Occasional travel to adjacent markets (Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam) and visits to the company's international sites (Germany, China, USA) for training purposes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
